Rev. Ann Bayliss is the Prayer and Pastoral Minister at the Church at 1548 Heights, a new generation Church of Christ in Houston, Texas. Ann serves as the current president of the Houston Chapter of Christians for Biblical Equality. She is a Spiritual Director with 40 years experience in church leadership, prayer ministry, and preaching. Ann is passionate about justice for women whether it is in the brothels or in the church. An advocate of women in ministry for most of those 40 years, she co-authored a series of Bible studies examining the affect of culture on the church which she concludes over time eroded the status of Christian women, and ignored their contributions to the faith. She and her husband, Ed enjoy their two grown daughters, and their dog, Jagger. Opera, exploring new places, murder mysteries, and diners top the list of her favorite things. Ann is a Graduate of the University of Minnesota.
Rev. Elizabeth Grasham is the pastor of Heights Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She is a graduate of Grand Canyon University (06') and George W.Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University (09'). She is an Ordained Minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Her favorite thing about Jesus is that he calls all people into the work of the Kingdom of God alongside him. Elizabeth is wife to Gene, mom to Gareth and step-mom to Roman and Odin. She reads/watches a LOT of science fiction and fantasy, which means she has definite opinions on what order kids should watch the Star Wars movies for the first time. She blogs and is prolific on all sorts of social media.
Kim Parrish-Sanders is a Manufacturer’s Rep for the HVAC Industry, Montgomery County ESD # 2 Commissioner, and all-around activist for the underdog. She is currently attending LSC to further her education towards a career in the medical field and is an active member of the Montgomery United Methodist Church Chancel and Bell Choirs. She is passionate about equality for women and strives to encourage those around her to join in her quest. Her belief is that recognition is key, and if we encourage girls from a young age, we can revolutionize the next generation of women to demand equality in all aspects of life. Kim is married with two sons, Kevin, currently in the U.S. Marine Corps, and Adam, a Sophomore in High School. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Rev. Chrissie West.has a passion for people and teaching the Bible – to bring it to life and help others apply it practically to their lives. With a heart for encouraging people to discover and pursue their Kingdom purpose, she specializes in teaching spiritual gifts assessments and identification through the Greek language and various scriptural passages and has written Bible study curriculums on foundational introductions to the Old Testament and in depth discipleship of the New Testament. She is a graduate of George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University along with her husband, Jimmy, who both obtained a Master of Divinity as members of the first graduating class. For over a decade, they worked together in overseeing a national nonprofit organization focusing on leadership development and mentorships for graduate students cross denominationally pursuing careers in ministry. Chrissie currently serves as a Communications Consultant with Copy That! Communications LLC.
